  Any fan of Food Network?

  i love most of their shows especially 30 -min.

  meal, tyler's ultimate, food 911 and goodeats, and not to mention all the competitions and iron chef.

  many of us were once fervent supporters and active members of the wtbs through our local congregations.

  when confronted with controversial information while under the influence of the organization, many of us were instantly defensive, dismissive, skeptical and fearful.

  we chose to continue believing the leadership knew better than we did and had our best interests at heart, despite any logic, or lack of reason.

  Would a Good God Really Create a Place Called HELL?

  i have read a number of different materials on this subject,doctrine,teaching,topic and still can't reconcile that a good god would really create a place called hell.

  jeremiah 7:31and 19:5 and they have built the high places of tophet,which is in the valley of the son of hinnom,to burn their sons and their daughters in the fire,which i did not command ,nor did it come into my heart.

  if burning of sons and daughters never came into god's heart, and god is good and loving,why the teaching of a burning hell-fire as eternal punishment for most of mankind who have no idea about this or the so-called way out of this hell?

  Story Time

  hey--i could really use some input from parents and kids at heart.. i am volunteering to do a story time this saturday.

  i am supposed to read whatever i want to the kids for an hour.

  i left a message that i would take requests for stories, but so far no one has made any suggestions.. i am just wondering what some of you would suggest i read.

  Breaking up is Hard to Do......

  i have been dating this woman for two months.

  i somehow agreed to being monogamus with her....the details aren't important..but here i am stuck in a relationship that daily grows more unbearable.

  i have been trying to get the nerve to end it for the last 6 weeks...lol well it's true.

  Tyydyy, use some imagination, man! Take her out to dinner in a crowded restaurant, tell her you're gay (no guilt for her then) and hand her a business card for a psychotherapist, in case she may feel the need to use it....and walk away....She won't be hurt, believe me....Bewildered that she didn't know? Yes....Stunned? Yes....Angry? Probably...but hurt? No....

  there's been too much volatile stuff going around, and a few folks appear tetchy.. can we drop any issues, and just enjoy a ((((group hug)))) for a moment.... ((((hugs to everyone)))).

  coz regardless of the ups and downs, this place is a little like the family i lost.... sometimes i need to take a step back, have a break and some quiet time, but that's ok, too.. every blessing to everyone,.

  GOD can advise us?

  well i was at a funeral today and i was really listening to what the pastor was saying and trying to rationalize the message he was expressing.

  he said that god could not help us or explain to us why this person had passed on but he could help us understand it!.

  so here we have the supposed someone or something who has the power to do all and make things right yet he will let you die but he will graciously help you understand.. what a farce this god is, one more reason for me to have no belief in this fairytale book called the bible.. beans.
